More Screen, More Mocking

Before and after

One of the new features you’ll find in 24 Carrot BETA Carrotene Island is a larger screen size. But just how much larger? Well, here’s the old game window:

And here’s the new one:

Now look what happens when we put the old screen on top of the new one (you may need to click to see the full effect):

Wow! That’s a lot of extra real estate. More to see, more to explore, more to enjoy.

And did we mention that all of this will be happening at a smoother frame rate? Yes, sir. There’s going to be a lot more of Poptropica to enjoy.

24 Carrot BETA Carrotene Island is coming soon. We’ll let you know just as soon as it’s available.

Well, the larger screen looks great to me! I can’t wait to test this BETA out. 😎 Although I’m still not looking forwards to this so called better navigation. 😦

In other news, BT was looking through the Daily Pop and came across this picture:

operating system

Then she noticed what it said in small print:

It says Mocktropica. Weird. Then, to check, BT looked up www.mocktropicaisland.com, which redirects to Poptropica! After a Whois search apparently Pearson (Poptropica) had bought that URL on April 8, 2013! Does this mean the island after Virus Hunter is Mocktropica? If it is, it’s pretty impressive that the Poptropicans have figured it out before the Creators wanted us to this early! 😉

So BT also checked out some of the Daily Pops that could relate to this island, such as these:

Idea Generator: Spin to win, try your luck.

Poppycock: Nothing like a virtual assistant who’s virtually useless.

What are your thoughts about all this? 😕 (Credit to the PHB for all the pictures)

  2. Dang it!!! I keep forgetting to post, because when I see it on my blog already posted, I think, “Okay, it’s already posted.” …And now I feel really selfish and bad. 😦

So... What do you Think?
