Adventure Time: DIY Contest
Hey guys, SD here! If you haven’t heard already, Cartoon Network is hosting a DIY Animation Contest for Adventure Time!
To enter the contest, you must create an account on DIY.org. You must be 17 years old or younger to enter, since it is a competition for kids. Once you have an account, you can create a short Adventure Time themed animation that is exactly 20 seconds long. You get bonus points for featuring the contest’s star: Marceline the Vampire Queen.
Remember that your animation is due on November 15th and that you can enter up to 3 times. Post your entry on your DIY Portfolio and tag it with #AnimationTime.
You can use any animation style you want (2D, 3D, stop-motion, etc.) and are welcome to use these images and audio clips.
The winning video clip will be shown on Cartoon Network on November 20th, during a special AT event! This special event may be the 4-part episode “Stakes“, however that is a few days before the 20th.
In other news, you may have noticed the ATP’s new theme! Halloween is over, so I knew I had to get rid of the spooky decorations, so I decided to just go ahead and make everything fresh and new! 😀

Adventure Time: New Episodes Everyday!
Hey guys, SD here! REALLY quick post (sorry I don’t have a lot of info at the moment) about new episodes of Adventure Time!
Yes, you read right! SEASON 7 OF ADVENTURE TIME IS HERE PEOPLE. As you can see in the schedule above, there is a new episode every night this week, from 11/2 to 11/6.
Remember that all these episodes are at 8/7 central.

Adventure Time at Comic Con: 2015
Hey guys! All the San Diego Comic Con 2015 hype is dying down, so I thought that it was time to post about the Adventure Time panel!
Note that the panel is a mix of Adventure Time and Steven Universe. Also, the entire video is really long so… just be prepared.
Okay, if you didn’t want to watch the entire thing, here are some highlights from the panel! I will also go over additional info I gathered from around the internet. Of course, this excludes the Steven Universe related information.
Adventurous Shorts
Hey guys! Since Season 6 of Adventure Time has finished, there haven’t been a lot of AT related posts. Thankfully, there is finally something to post about!
By the way, I hope to be posting more about AT episodes when Season 7 starts (among other things)! 🙂
Anyway, let’s get to the point. A few days ago, Cartoon Network released a mini AT episode! It’s just a short though, so it’s not exactly an episode… Nothing to freak out about.
To be honest… the main thing I got out of this episode was that Finn doesn’t have facial hair because BMO wants him to stay young… I just love that. XD
There was also a short back in 2012, shown below (sorry about the video quality). I’m pretty sure there were other small clips like this scattered across Adventure Time’s lifespan, but I can’t list them all here. 😛
These shorts don’t impact the plot too much, but they are still pretty enjoyable.
I’m not sure if there will be anymore shorts between now and Season 7’s release (which is in the fall), but if there are we will let you know! 🙂

AT Finale Week: June 1-5
Warning: Possible spoilers! Please be sure you have caught up with all the major AT episodes!
As explained in the title, Season 6 of Adventure Time will sadly end very soon. Specifically on June 5th. On the bright side, the season is going out with a bang! Yep, we have a full week of new Adventure Time episodes to obsess over.
The image above shows the schedule for the week (starting on 6/1 and ending on 6/5). However, we will go into more detail on each episode below.
Monday: You Forgot Your Floaties – Finn and Jake storm Magic Man’s house to rescue his new apprentice.
Tuesday: Be Sweet – A fed up Lumpy Space Princess leaves the woods for a glamorous career in babysitting.
Wednesday: Orgalorg – After a walrus race accident, Gunther starts to experience strange visions.
Thursday: On the Lam – Finn’s dad, Martin the Human, fights for freedom on a strange new planet.
Friday: Hot Diggity Doom (2 part finale) – On election day, Princess Bubblegum’s attention is diverted by a presence in the sky.
Friday: The Comet (2 part finale) – Finn, Jake and Orgalorg converge with the comet and meet their destiny.
Okay… it’s normal to be freaking out right now… right??? Since I can’t hear your answer, I’m just gonna take that silence as a yes…
*cough* Aaaaannnywaaay…
There isn’t a title card available for every episode yet, but here is what we got:

Raptors and Reign of Omegons!
Hello Poptropicans! Raptor here, Slippery Raptor.
I’m the newest member here on the ATP and I’m really happy to be here! SD added me a here a week ago but I haven’t found the perfect time to post until now. You might know me as an author on the PHB and my own blog.
Adventure Time is one of my favorite cartoons of all time. Not that it has humor or 
funny characters, but sometimes you can learn something about the adventures of Finn and Jake! Who ships PB and Finn? I kinda like them together more than Flame Princess and Finn (no offense :P).
About me, I’m fourteen. I like books and music. My favorite Adventure Time character is Marshall Lee and my favorite episode is “It Came from the Nightosphere“ and it was just awesome.
Moving on to Poptropica news, the final and the last episode of PoptropiCon Ep. 3: Reign of Omegon is now available for everyone to play! I have already finished the island right after its release just today and you’re in for a treat! The final episode is just awesome and Omegon is considered to be one of the most evil villain of Poptropica. Click the image to play Poptropica!

AT Episodes: Evergreen & More
Hey guys? I have mentioned an upcoming AT episode called Evergreen many, many times. However, this time, we finally have an air date! 😀 Evergreen will be airing on January 15 (Thursday).
The story of Evergreen, and his young assistant, Gunter, during the prehistoric era, long before the Mushroom War as they try to avoid a major catastrophe from destroying Earth

So, Evergreen looks like Ice King… and this episode is supposedly set pre-mushroom war. Yet Ice King was originally Simon… I’m super confused.

Anyway, we also know that Astral Plane is airing on January 22, the next Thursday. The best preview I could find is below.
Can’t wait for this one either!
Lastly, Gold Stars is airing on January 29, the next Thursday. Sadly, we don’t know anything about this episode.

Sweater Time + Game Wizard Q&A
You know what time it is? It’s sweater time! Christmas may be over, but it’s still cold outside.
And so it was decided… that once every year when the weather got chilly, that Finn, Jake, the Ice King, BMO, Princess Bubblegum, Marceline the Vampire Queen, Cinnamon Bun, Peppermint Butler, a candy cane man, one of the gumdrop girls, Lady Rainicorn, Lumpy Space Princess, that guy, the other guy, a pig, Tree Trunks, a two-headed duck, a booger, and Gunter… would get together while wearing really big sweaters and watch videos on the floor next to a fire… to celebrate the day when Finn and Jake had a fleeting moment of empathy for the biggest weirdo in Ooo. It was a miracle. Happy holidays,everyone!
Which sweater is your favorite? I think I like Princess Bubblegum’s the best. 🙂
Anyway, we previously mentioned an upcoming Adventure Time game called Game Wizard. Well, Cartoon Network got a Q&A (Questions and Answers) with the creators of the game. Below is the first question from the interview. It’s too long to include the full interview here, but you can click here to read the whole thing.
1. What inspired you to make this game?When we were growing up we always dreamed of one day making our own games, but didn’t know where to start, so most of our ideas started with paper and pencil and ended there. We would map out games and talk about where the enemies and the key’s would be, and then imagine playing through it – but didn’t have the tools to actually bring it to life. The inspiration for Game Wizard comes from that experience and wanting to make it real for kids today. With this game, you can come up with game ideas on paper and then turn them in to games that you can play and share with anyone.
Trust me, it’s pretty cool. I can’t wait for the game! 😛

Game Wizards, Christmas Labels, & Look-A-Likes
Hey guys! Here is that Adventure Time update I mentioned.
To start out, a new app is coming out soon! It is called Adventure Time Game Wizard and in the app… “You’ll get to draw your own Adventure Time games! Once you scan your game design into the app, it’ll transform into a super cool sketchy style.” From a young artist/fan girl’s perspective, this sounds awesome. Check out some concept art below! 😛
One of the villains in the concepts above includes the Doodle Wizard. “He’s a sketchy dude with the power to summon a scribbly army.”
Cartoon Network also has some adventurous things in store for the holidays!
So, to make your holiday experience the best time you’ve ever had, *chuckle* be sure to use these mathematical AT Gift Labels! But to be serious, I really wish I didn’t already have all of my gifts wrapped…
Lastly, Cartoon Network has recognized that their characters sometimes tend to look a like. I decided to include this, since it does include some AT characters. 😉
